Sunroof Motor/Actuator Block Assembly Replacement Front Window

1. Open the front sunshade to the full open position.



2. Remove the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
3. Remove the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



4. Remove the front sunroof motor/actuator (4). Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
5. Remove the front sunshade assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



6. Remove either the front left or front right sunroof front window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .
7. Cut the tie straps securing the electrical harness to the return tubes. Discard the tie straps.



8. Release the return tube (2) from the motor/actuator block. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the return tubes.
9. Hold onto the motor block. Gently pry the drive (1) and return tube (2) from the motor actuator block.
10. Carefully remove the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator compartment.
11. Remove the motor/actuator block assembly from the motor compartment.

1. Position the drive and return tubes (2) to the motor block (3)



2. Use a standard pair of pliers (2) to carefully secure the return tube (1) to the motor block (3).
3. Position the motor/actuator block assembly to the motor compartment.



4. Loosely install 2 motor/actuator screws into the block in order to hold the block into position until the front track (3) rear extension (2) is installed.
5. Install either the front left or front right sunroof front window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .



6. Install the front sunshade assembly (3). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .
7. Remove the motor/actuator screws from the motor block.



8. Install the front window motor/actuator (4). Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .



9. Use new tie straps to secure the electrical harness to the drive (4) and return (3) return tubes.
10. Install the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



11. Install the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
12. Close the front sunshade.
13. Perform the front window/sunshade initialization process. Refer to Sunroof Front Window/Sunshade Initialization Process .

Sunroof Motor/Actuator Block Assembly Replacement Rear Vent Window

1. Open the rear sunshade to the full open position.



2. Remove the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
3. Remove the rear sunroof vent window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



4. Remove the rear sunroof vent window motor/actuator (4). Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
5. Remove the rear sunshade assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



6. Remove either the rear left or rear right sunroof rear window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .
7. Cut the tie straps securing the electrical harness to the drive and return tubes. Discard the tie straps.



8. Release the drive (1) and return (2) tubes from the motor/actuator block. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the drive and return tubes.
9. Hold onto the motor block and gently pry the return tube from the motor block.
10. Carefully remove the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator compartment.
11. Remove the vent window motor/actuator block from the motor compartment.

1. Position the drive and return tubes (2) to the motor block (3).



2. Use a standard pair of pliers (2) to carefully secure the return tube (1) to the motor block (3).
3. Position the vent window motor/actuator block assembly to the motor compartment.



4. Loosely install 2 motor/actuator screws into the motor/actuator block in order to hold the block into position until the rear track (3) rear drive tube block (2) is installed.



5. Install either the rear left or rear right sunroof rear window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .



6. Install the rear sunshade assembly (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



7. Install the rear vent window motor/actuator (4). Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .



8. Use new tie straps to secure the electrical harness to the drive (4) and return (3) tubes, if necessary.
9. Install the rear sunroof vent window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



10. Install the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
11. Close the rear sunshade.
12. Perform the rear vent window/sunshade initialization process. Refer to Sunroof Rear Window Initialization Process .

Sunroof Motor/Actuator Block Assembly Replacement Front Sunshade

1. Open the front sunshade to the full open position.



2. Remove the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
3. Remove the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



4. Remove the front sunroof sunshade motor/actuator (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement .
5. Remove the front sunshade assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



6. Remove either the front left or front right sunroof front window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .
7. Cut the tie straps securing the electrical harness to the return tubes. Discard the tie straps.



8. Release the return tube (2) from the front sunshade motor/actuator block. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the return tubes.
9. Hold onto the motor block. Gently pry the drive (1) and return tube (2) from the motor actuator block.
10. Carefully remove the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator compartment.
11. Remove the front sunshade motor/actuator block assembly from the motor compartment.

3. Position the front sunroof/sunshade motor/actuator block assembly to the motor compartment.

5. Install either the front left or front right sunroof front window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .



6. Install the front sunshade assembly (3). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .
7. Remove the motor/actuator screws from the motor block.



8. Install the front sunshade motor/actuator (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Motor/Actuator Replacement .



9. Use new tie straps to secure the electrical harness to the drive (4) and return (3) return tubes.
10. Install the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



11. Install the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
12. Close the front sunshade.
13. Perform the front window/sunshade initialization process. Refer to Sunroof Front Window/Sunshade Initialization Process .

Sunroof Motor/Actuator Block Assembly Replacement Rear Sunshade

1. Open the rear sunshade to the full open position.



2. Remove the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
3. Remove the rear sunroof vent window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



4. Remove the rear sunroof sunshade motor/actuator (6). Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
5. Remove the rear sunshade assembly. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



6. Remove either the rear left or rear right sunroof rear window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .
7. Cut the tie straps securing the electrical harness to the drive and return tubes. Discard the tie straps.



8. Release the drive (1) and return (2) tubes from the motor/actuator block. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the drive and return tubes.
9. Hold onto the motor block and gently pry the return tube from the motor block.
10. Carefully remove the drive and return tubes from the motor/actuator compartment.
11. Remove the sunshade motor/actuator block from the motor compartment.

1. Position the drive and return tubes (2) to the motor block (3)



2. Use a standard pair of pliers (2) to carefully secure the return tube (1) to the motor block (3).
3. Position the rear sunroof sunshade motor/actuator block assembly to the motor compartment.



4. Loosely install 2 motor/actuator screws into the motor/actuator block in order to hold the block into position until the rear track (3) rear drive tube block (2) is installed



5. Install either the rear left or rear right sunroof rear window track (3). Refer to Sunroof Window Front Track Assembly Replacement .



6. Install the rear sunshade assembly (2). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



7. Install the rear sunshade motor/actuator (4). Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Assembly Replacement .



8. Use new tie straps to secure the electrical harness to the drive (4) and return (3) tubes, if necessary.
9. Install the rear sunroof vent window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .



10. Install the center window (2). Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
11. Close the rear sunshade.
12. Perform the rear vent window/sunshade initialization process. Refer to Sunroof Rear Window Initialization Process .
