Remove the instrument panel retainer assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Retainer Replacement.

Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Nut (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Assembly

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the bracket and position the harness out of the way.
