Preliminary Procedure

Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement.

I/P Ashtray Assembly Screw

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Open the ashtray assembly and remove the hidden screw through the access hole provided.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

I/P Ashtray Assembly Screw (Qty: 4)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

I/P Ashtray Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  2. When replacing the instrument panel ashtray assembly, transfer all necessary components.
