Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement.
  3. Remove the inner window seal. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 1199201 Size: SH
  4. Grasp the front, lower end of the window weatherstrip and pull the weatherstrip out of the door frame, far enough to reveal the door applique screws.

    5. Object Number: 758965 Size: SH
  5. Remove the applique screws.
  6. Slide the applique downward into the door.
  7. Tilt the upper end of the applique outward, then lift to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 758965 Size: SH
  1. Slide the door applique up under the auxiliary weatherstrip and rearward over the door frame.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the door applique screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    Note: When reusing the window weatherstrip, the flange mounting area (1) must be pinched together in order to counteract the splaying effect when removed. Use a thumb and an index finger in order to pinch the carrier (2) back together. Work from one end of the weatherstrip to the other.

  3. Install the front portion of the window weatherstrip.
  4. Install the inner window seal. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement.
  5. Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
