The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A customer may comment the radio clock is missing or that they cannot enable the clock using the instructions in the owner manual. The cause may be the radio software.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Important: The new radio software was implemented at the assembly plant with VIN number 90115149. Vehicles built on and after this date will not need the new software.
Program the radio with calibration part number 25915260 (CVN 00000C78) or most current calibration using Service Programming System (SPS). Please make sure this new radio software is installed during the vehicle's pre-delivery inspection. Once the software is loaded, please activate the clock feature and set the correct time.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
