Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front compartment sight shields. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
2. Remove the fascia to tie bar plastic retainers and pull the top of the front fascia out far enough to gain access to the fascia grille retainers.

Use caution prying upper grille with plastic trim tool as the grille may break if pried too hard or too fast.
