8-Digit GM Part Number: The scan tool displays the part number for the Door Module (DDSA, DDM, PFDM, LMDM, RMDM, LRDM, or RRDM).

Battery Voltage Signal: The scan tool displays 0 to 25.0 volts. This is the current battery voltage level at the door module.

Component Serial No. 13-16: The scan tool displays the third partition of the door module serial number.

Deadbolt Actuator Command: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock/Invalid. This is the door module output to the deadbolt actuator. Upon receiving a valid deadbolt request, the door module supplies voltage and ground to the associated dead bolt actuator to deadbolt the door as requested and the scan tool displays Lock in the appropriate door modules data list. When the door module is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated door lock actuator to deadbolt the door, the scan tool displays Idle.

Door Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Door Closed/Door Ajar. Each one of the vehicle doors has a door ajar switch. When a vehicle door is open, the associated door ajar switch closes and the scan tool displays Door Ajar for that switch in the appropriate door modules data list. When a vehicle door is closed, the associated door ajar switch opens and the scan tool displays Door Closed for that switch in the appropriate door modules data list.

Door Lock Actuator Cmd.: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock/Invalid. This is the door module output to the door lock actuator. Upon receiving a valid door lock request, the door module supplies voltage and ground to the associated door lock actuator to lock the door as requested and the scan tool displays Lock in the appropriate door modules data list. When the door module is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated door lock actuator to lock the door, the scan tool displays Idle.

Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Lock/Unlock. This is the state of the door lock switch as detected by the associated door module, except for the driver door lock switch, which is detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Door Open Switch: The scan tool displays Closed/Open. This is the state of the door open switch as detected by the door control modules for there respective doors. When a door is open, the scan tool displays Open. When a door is closed, the scan tool displays Closed.

Door Switch Backlight Command: The scan tool displays a Percent (%). This is the state of the door switches backlighting as detected by the associated door module. When the door switches are illuminated, the scan tool displays a percentage with respect to the interior lamps dimmer switch in the appropriate door modules data list.

Door Lock Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Lock/Unlock. This is the state of the door lock switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Driver Door Handle: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the outside driver door handle switch. When the switch is pulled to open the door the scan tool displays Active. When the outside driver door handle is not used the scan tool displays Inactive.

Driver Mirror Heater: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the driver door module (DDM) output to the associated mirror. When the DDM supplies voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the scan tool displays Active in the appropriate door modules data list. When the DDM is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the scan tool displays Inactive.

Driver Mirror Horizontal Position: The scan tool displays volts. This is the mirror horizontal position sensor feedback voltage as detected by the driver door module (DDM) module. The voltage varies directly with the horizontal position of the driver outside rearview mirror.

Driver Mirror Vertical Position: The scan tool displays volts. This is the mirror vertical position sensor feedback voltage as detected by the driver door module (DDM) module. The voltage varies directly with the horizontal position of the driver outside rearview mirror.

Driver Mirror Motors Command: The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Left/Right/Fold In/Fold Out. This is the driver door module (DDM) output to the associated outside rearview mirror. When the DDM supplies voltage and ground to the associated driver or passenger mirror motor to move the mirror up, down, left, or right, or to Fold In or Fold Out, the scan tool displays the corresponding direction in the appropriate door modules data list. When the DDM is not supplying voltage and ground to a mirror motor, the scan tool displays Idle.

Driver LF Window Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Express Up/Express Down for the left front passenger door window. This is the state of the left front passenger door window switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Driver LR Window Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Express Up/Express Down for the left rear passenger door window. This is the state of the right rear passenger door window switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Driver RF Window Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Express Up/Express Down for the right front passenger door window. This is the state of the right front passenger door window switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Driver RR Window Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Express Up/Express Down for the right rear passenger door window. This is the state of the right rear passenger door window switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Exterior Courtesy Lamp Command: The scan tool displays Percent (%). This is the state of the exterior courtesy lamp as detected by the associated door module. When the exterior courtesy lamps are illuminated, the scan tool displays a percentage with respect to the intensity the lamps are illuminated in the appropriate door module data list.

Exterior Courtesy Lamp Status: The scan tool displays Off/On. This is the state of the exterior courtesy lamp as detected by the associated door module. When the driver or front passenger doors are opened, the exterior courtesy lamps illuminate and the scan tool displays ON. When the front doors are closed the exterior courtesy lamps turn off and the scan too displays Off.

Julian Date Of Build: The scan tool displays a number representing the day of the year the module selected was built.

Door Cylinder Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock. On domestic vehicles, this is the state of the key cylinder unlock switch as detected by the driver door module (DDM). When the door key is inserted into the driver door lock cylinder and turned to the unlock position, the scan tool displays Unlock. When the driver door lock cylinder is Turned the lock position, the scan tool displays Lock. When the driver door lock cylinder is not being turned to the unlock or lock positions, the scan tool displays Idle. On export vehicles, this is the state of the key cylinder lock switch as detected by the driver door module (DDM). When the door key is inserted into the driver door lock cylinder and turned to the lock position, the scan tool displays On. When the driver door lock cylinder is not being turned to either the lock or unlock position, the scan tool displays Off.

Lock Indicator Command: The scan tool displays a Percent (%). This is the state of the door lock switch indicator as detected by the associated door module. When the door lock switch indicators are illuminated, the scan tool displays a percentage with respect to the intensity the lamps are illuminated in the driver door module (DDM) and front passenger door module (PDM) data list.

Lock Switch Indicator Command: The scan tool displays Off/On. This is the state of the door lock switch indicator as detected by the driver door module (DDM) and front passenger door module (PDM).

LF Latch Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the driver door latch. When the exterior door handle is lifted and the door lock is in the Unlock position the latch solenoid will release and the scan tool will display Active.

Mirror Fold Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Fold/Unfold. This is the state of the outside rearview mirror power fold switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). When the power fold switch is not being operated the scan tool displays Idle.

Mirror Select Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Off/Driver/Passenger. This is the state of the mirror select switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). The display indicates which mirror, if any, the operator has selected for adjustment.

Mirror Direction Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Left/Right. This is the state of the mirror position adjustment switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). When the mirror position adjustment switch is operated in any of these directions, the scan tool displays the corresponding direction.

Passenger Door Handle: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the outside front passenger door handle switch. When the switch is pulled to open the door the scan tool displays Active. When the outside passenger door handle is not being used the scan tool displays Inactive.

Psgr. Mirror Heater: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the passenger door module (PDM) output to the associated mirror. When the PDM supplies voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the scan tool displays Active in the appropriate door modules data list. When the PDM is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the scan tool displays Inactive.

Psgr. Mirror Horizontal Position: The scan tool displays volts. This is the mirror horizontal position sensor feedback voltage as detected by the passenger door module (PDM). The voltage varies directly with the horizontal position of the passenger outside rearview mirror.

Psgr. Mirror Motors Command: The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Left/Right/Fold In/Fold Out. This is the passenger door module (PDM) output to the associated outside rearview mirror. When the PDM supplies voltage and ground to the associated driver or passenger mirror motor to move the mirror up, down, left, or right, or to Fold In or Fold Out, the scan tool displays the corresponding direction in the appropriate door modules data list. When the PDM is not supplying voltage and ground to a mirror motor, the scan tool displays Idle.

Psgr. Mirror Vertical Position: The scan tool displays volts. This is the mirror vertical position sensor feedback voltage as detected by the passenger door module (PDM). The voltage varies directly with the horizontal position of the passenger outside rearview mirror.

RF Latch Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the front passenger door latch. When the exterior door handle is lifted and the door lock is in the Unlock position the latch solenoid will release and the scan tool will display Active.

Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the trunk release switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). when the trunk release switch is pressed the scan tool displays Active. When the DDSA receives no input from the trunk release switch the scan tool displays Inactive.

VIN Learned: The scan tool displays Yes/No. The door control modules learn the vehicle identification number (VIN) upon keyup when replaced. When a door control module does not learn or receive the VIN via GMLAN serial data, the scan tool will display NO for VIN Learned.

VIN Message Received: The scan tool displays Yes/No. When a door control module does not receive the vehicle identification number (VIN) broadcast via GMLAN serial data, the scan tool will display NO.

Window Lockout Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the window lockout switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). When the window lockout switch is not being operated, the scan tool displays Idle.

Window Lockout Switch Indicator Command (DDSA): The scan tool displays Percent Intensity. This is the state of the LED indicator on the window lockout switch button as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA) as a percent of intensity depending on the interior light dimming.

Window Motor Command: The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Active. This is the door module output to the associated window. Upon receiving a valid window Up or Down request, the door module supplies voltage and ground to the associated window motor to move the window in the requested direction and the scan tool displays the corresponding direction in the appropriate door modules data list. When the door module is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated window motor to move the window in either direction, the scan tool displays Idle.

Window Normalization: The scan tool displays Yes/No. The door control modules monitor the distance the window glass travels. When a door control module determines a window has not reached the full up or full down positions, the window is considered to be not normalized. When this happens the scan tool will display No.

Window Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Up/Down/Express Up/Express Down for the front passenger and rear window switches. This is the state of the front passenger and rear passenger door window switches as detected by the respective door control module. The left front window switch is monitored by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).

Year Module Built: The scan tool displays the four digit year of build for the module selected.
