Preliminary Procedures

  1. Lift and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the air deflector assembly. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .

Tip

  1. Disconnect washer hose and drain washer solvent.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Lift and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the air deflector assembly. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .

Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch Seal

Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch

Tip

  1. Drain washer fluid and refill when finished with replacement.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector and reconnect when finished with replacement.
  3. Using two flat bladed tools, pry outward the washer solvent container level sensor switch from the solvent container.
  4. Use equal inward pressure to seat the level sensor switch into the seal.
