The Air Quality Sensor Sensitivity Level can be changed using the scan tool.
If exhaust fumes are noticed in the vehicle a more sensitive level should be selected.
The following describes the sensitivity settings to choose from:
- 7 is the least sensitive to exhaust.
- 6 is less sensitive than 5.
- 5 is less sensitive than 4.
- The production setting and default value is 4.
- 3 is more sensitive than 4.
- 2 is more sensitive thab 3.
- 1 is the most sensitive to exhaust.
Use the following procedure in order to change the sensitivity level:
- Connect the scan tool .
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
- Select HVAC Module.
- Select HVAC Systems Automatic.
- Select Special Functions.
- Select IPM.
- Select Air Quality Sensor Sensitivity Level.
- Choose a sensitivity level from 1-7.
- Select ENTER to enable the new selection.
- When done, use the soft key to save changes.
