Condition/Concern:
Some 2005 Cadillac STS may experience the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) inoperative after the Rear Integration Module (RIM) Set Up procedure is performed using previous Tech 2 software version 25.001.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Perform the RIM Set Up procedure using current Tech 2 software.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
