Attention: Use GMVIS to determine vehicle build date. This bulletin only applies to vehicles built prior to April 5, 2005.


Condition

Some customers may comment that the outside rearview (OSRV) mirrors do not work smoothly and at times do not return to their programmed position.

Don't Do This

Reprogram the door module.

Don't replace the OSRV mirror or the door module.

Technicians are to reprogram the Driver Door Module (DDM) and the Front Passenger Door Module (FPDM) with an updated software calibration. These new service calibrations were released with TIS satellite data update version 10.5 available October 17, 2005. As always, make sure your Tech 2® is updated with the latest software version.
