The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
It may be noticed the Seek Steering Wheel Controls no longer function as intended after the vehicle has been serviced. The change has been tied to programming of the IPM or RIM. The new functionality of the switch may be described as one of the following:
| • | The radio seeks the next strong station DOWN the dial when pressing the switch up (+) |
| • | Or the radio may seek the next preset station when pressing the switch up (+). |
Recommendation/Instructions:
Contact the Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) at 1-800-828-6860.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
