If the noise insulating pad is separated, replace the brake pads and re-evaluate. If the noise insulating pad is not separated, inspect replace the caliper mounting bracket for a green dot on the caliper bracket near the hole that the caliper slide pin goes through. on the side making the noise only. If there is not a green dot, replace the caliper bracket for only the side making noise. The part number for the bracket is 18047987. The part number is the same for both sides.
Add silicone grease to the brake caliper sliding pins and re-evaluate the noise. DO NOT replace the caliper mounting brackets. 2006 Model Year vehicles have been built using the updated brackets.
