1. Remove the right and left engine compartment sight shields. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
2. Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .

Tip
Pull the sight shield straight up to disengage the shield from the ball studs.
