Component Serial No. 13-16: The scan tool displays the third partition of the door module serial number.
Deadbolt Actuator Command: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock/Invalid. This is the door module output to the deadbolt actuator. Upon receiving a valid deadbolt request, the door module supplies voltage and ground to the associated
dead bolt actuator to deadbolt the door as requested and the scan tool displays Lock in the appropriate door modules data list. When the door module is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated door lock actuator to deadbolt the door, the scan tool
displays Idle.
Door Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Door Closed/Door Ajar. Each one of the vehicle doors has a door ajar switch. When a vehicle door is open, the associated door ajar switch closes and the scan tool displays Door Ajar for that switch
in the appropriate door modules data list. When a vehicle door is closed, the associated door ajar switch opens and the scan tool displays Door Closed for that switch in the appropriate door modules data list.
Door Lock Actuator Cmd.: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock/Invalid. This is the door module output to the door lock actuator. Upon receiving a valid door lock request, the door module supplies voltage and ground to the associated
door lock actuator to lock the door as requested and the scan tool displays Lock in the appropriate door modules data list. When the door module is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated door lock actuator to lock the door, the scan tool displays
Idle.
Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Lock/Unlock. This is the state of the door lock switch as detected by the associated door module, except for the driver door lock switch, which is detected by the driver door switch assembly
(DDSA).
Door Open Switch: The scan tool displays Closed/Open. This is the state of the door open switch as detected by the door control modules for there respective doors. When a door is open, the scan tool displays Open. When a door is closed,
the scan tool displays Closed.
Door Switch Backlight Command: The scan tool displays a Percent (%). This is the state of the door switches backlighting as detected by the associated door module. When the door switches are illuminated, the scan tool displays a percentage
with respect to the interior lamps dimmer switch in the appropriate door modules data list.
Door Lock Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Idle/Lock/Unlock. This is the state of the door lock switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).
Driver Door Handle: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the outside driver door handle switch. When the switch is pulled to open the door the scan tool displays Active. When the outside driver door handle is not
used the scan tool displays Inactive.
Fuel Door Lock Relay: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The fuel door will lock with a lock command.
Fuel Door Unlock Relay: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The fuel door is released when commanded open.
Julian Date Of Build: The scan tool displays a number representing the day of the year the module selected was built.
Door Cylinder Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Unlock/Lock. On domestic vehicles, this is the state of the key cylinder unlock switch as detected by the driver door module (DDM). When the door key is inserted into the driver door lock
cylinder and turned to the unlock position, the scan tool displays Unlock. When the driver door lock cylinder is Turned the lock position, the scan tool displays Lock. When the driver door lock cylinder is not being turned to the unlock or lock positions, the
scan tool displays Idle.
On export vehicles, this is the state of the key cylinder lock switch as detected by the driver door module (DDM). When the door key is inserted into the driver door lock cylinder and turned to the lock position, the scan
tool displays On. When the driver door lock cylinder is not being turned to either the lock or unlock position, the scan tool displays Off.
Lock Indicator Command: The scan tool displays a Percent (%). This is the state of the door lock switch indicator as detected by the associated door module. When the door lock switch indicators are illuminated, the scan tool displays a
percentage with respect to the intensity the lamps are illuminated in the driver door module (DDM) and front passenger door module (PDM) data list.
Lock Switch Indicator Command: The scan tool displays Off/On. This is the state of the door lock switch indicator as detected by the driver door module (DDM) and front passenger door module (PDM).
LF Latch Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the driver door latch. When the exterior door handle is lifted and the door lock is in the Unlock position the latch solenoid will release and the scan
tool will display Active.
Passenger Door Handle: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the outside front passenger door handle switch. When the switch is pulled to open the door the scan tool displays Active. When the outside passenger door
handle is not being used the scan tool displays Inactive.
Psgr. Mirror Heater: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the passenger door module (PDM) output to the associated mirror. When the PDM supplies voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the
scan tool displays Active in the appropriate door modules data list. When the PDM is not supplying voltage and ground to the associated outside rearview mirror heating element, the scan tool displays Inactive.
RF Latch Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the front passenger door latch. When the exterior door handle is lifted and the door lock is in the Unlock position the latch solenoid will release
and the scan tool will display Active.
Trunk Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The scan tool displays ON when the trunk is open.
Trunk Release Output: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The trunk is released when commanded open with a scan tool.
Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the trunk release switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). when the trunk release switch is pressed the scan tool displays Active. When
the DDSA receives no input from the trunk release switch the scan tool displays Inactive.
VIN Learned: The scan tool displays Yes/No. The door control modules learn the vehicle identification number (VIN) upon keyup when replaced. When a door control module does not learn or receive the VIN via GMLAN serial data, the scan tool
will display NO for VIN Learned.
VIN Message Received: The scan tool displays Yes/No. When a door control module does not receive the vehicle identification number (VIN) broadcast via GMLAN serial data, the scan tool will display NO.
Window Lockout Switch (DDSA): The scan tool displays Inactive/Active. This is the state of the window lockout switch as detected by the driver door switch assembly (DDSA). When the window lockout switch is not being operated, the scan tool
displays Idle.
Year Module Built: The scan tool displays the four digit year of build for the module selected.
