Removal Procedure
  1. Place the ignition switch into OFF position.
  2. Remove the RH front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.
  3. Thoroughly clean the area around the brake pressure modulator (BPMV) of all dirt and debris.

    4. Object Number: 1906574 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the brake fluid pressure sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the brake fluid pressure sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1906574 Size: SH
  1. Install the brake fluid pressure sensor (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the brake fluid pressure sensor to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  2. Connect the brake fluid pressure sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the RH front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.
  4. Perform the Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure.
  5. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
