Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the right front fascia extension. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement.
2. Drain the washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
3. Disconnect the headlamp washer pump hose from the headlamp washer pump.
4. Disconnect the headlamp washer pump electrical connector from the washer pump.
5. Disengage the washer pump from the container, pull the top of the pump slightly outward.
6. Using two flat-bladed tools in front of the headlamp washer pump spout, pry outward in order to remove the pump.

Discard the old washer pump grommet from the washer container.
