---|---|---|---|---|
Vehicle Speed Signal | B0000 5A | B0000 5A | B0000 5A | B0000 5A |
The radio receives a vehicle speed signal from the engine control module (ECM) in order to correlate actual vehicle speed to the movement of the vehicle calculated by the navigation system and reported serial data.
• | Radio ON. |
• | Battery voltage must be between 9-16 volts. |
DTC B0000 5A will set when one or both of the following conditions are present:
• | Vehicle speed from serial data is more than 5 km/h (3 mph) and vehicle speed pulse from the ECM is 0 km/h (0 mph). |
• | Vehicle speed calculated from the navigation processing software is more than 36 km/h (22 mph) and vehicle speed pulse from the ECM is 0 km/h (0 mph) for 10 seconds continuously. |
No action taken when DTC sets.
• | The condition responsible for setting the DTC no longer exists. |
• | A history DTC will clear once 100 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles have occurred. |
