Preliminary Procedure

1. Using a J 25070 in a circular motion, warm the front door emblems/nameplates prior to removal. Carefully clean the panel thoroughly prior to bonding the new emblems/nameplates to the front door.
2. Ensure the door is in the closed position prior to the installation of the new emblems/nameplates.

Front Side Door Nameplate (V Series)

Notice: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Clean the adhesive tape from the surface of the front side door and dry thoroughly before applying new nameplate.
2. Peel protective backing from emblem and ensure no foreign matter or dirt comes in contact with the adhesive backing prior to installation.
3. Install the emblem and apply pressure to ensure full adhesion to the front side door.

Front Side Door Emblem Assembly (Supercharged)

Procedure

1. Clean the adhesive tape from the surface of the front door and dry thoroughly before applying the new emblem.
2. Peel protective backing from the emblem and ensure no foreign matter or dirt comes in contact with the adhesive backing prior to installation.
3. Position the emblem to the front side door.
4. Apply pressure to ensure full adhesion to the front side door.
