Service Stabilitrac, ABS Traction Off (C0045 C0050) - keywords control stability TCS VSES WSS

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that the Service Stability is displayed and the ABS and Traction Off indicators are illuminated. DTC C0045 00 or C0050 00 are stored. The condition may set only on turns.

Before replacing a Wheel Speed Sensor or EBCM, check the wiring, circuits 882 & 883 for the right rear or 884 & 885 for the left rear from X101 to the EBCM for a short to ground or open condition.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
