J 25033-C Pulley Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools


    Object Number: 1688275 Size: SH
  1. Place the power steering pump in position to the engine.

    2. Object Number: 1688274 Size: SH
  2. Loosely install the power steering pump side bolt.

    3. Object Number: 1688273 Size: SH
  3. Loosely install the power steering pump front bolt.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1688276 Size: SH
  4. Tighten the power steering pump bolts in the proper sequence.
    5. • The side bolt (1) to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
    • The front bolt (2) to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Place the power steering pulley in position to the power steering pump.

    6. Object Number: 1688271 Size: SH
  6. Install the J 25033-C installer into the threads of the power steering pump shaft. Ensure the J 25033-C installer threads completely into the shaft of the power steering pump before the pressing components of the J 25033-C installer contact the power steering pulley.

    7. Object Number: 254752 Size: SH
  7. Tighten the nut on the J 25033-C installer until the hub of the power steering pulley is flush with the end of the power steering pump shaft.
  8. Remove the J 25033-C installer .
