Left Side Harness Connections

    Object Number: 1690286 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine wiring harness to the engine block.

    2. Object Number: 1690276 Size: SH
  2. Install the left rear engine harness bracket.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1699247 Size: SH
  3. Install the left rear engine harness bracket bolt and nut.
    4. 3.1. Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
    3.2. Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness starter connector to the starter wiring harness.

    5. Object Number: 1690229 Size: SH
  5. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left side fuel injectors.

  6. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft cover.

    7. Object Number: 1690220 Size: SH
  7. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left coil assembly harness.

    8. Object Number: 1690232 Size: SH
  8. Connect the engine wiring harness to the evaporative emissions (EVAP) canister purge solenoid.

    9. Object Number: 1690234 Size: SH
  9. Connect the engine wiring harness to the throttle body.

    10. Object Number: 1690221 Size: SH
  10. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft position actuators.

    11. Object Number: 1690225 Size: SH
  11. Connect the engine wiring harness to the left camshaft position sensors.

    12. Object Number: 1690236 Size: SH
  12. Connect the engine wiring harness to the supercharger charge air bypass regulator solenoid valve.

    13. Object Number: 1690240 Size: SH
  13. Connect the engine wiring harness to the oil pressure sensor.

    14. Object Number: 1690243 Size: SH
  14. Connect the engine wiring harness to the air conditioner compressor.

    15. Object Number: 1690247 Size: SH
  15. Connect the engine wiring harness to the engine oil level switch/temperature sensor.

Right Side Harness Connections

    Object Number: 1690279 Size: SH
  1. Install the right rear engine harness bracket.

    2. Object Number: 1699255 Size: SH
  2. Install the right rear engine harness bracket bolt and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1690284 Size: SH
  3. Install the right side rear engine harness bracket.

    4. Object Number: 1699253 Size: SH
  4. Install the right side engine harness bracket bolts and tighten to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

    5. Object Number: 1690269 Size: SH
  5. Connect the engine wiring harness to the knock and crankshaft position sensor wiring harness.

    6. Object Number: 1690259 Size: SH
  6. Connect the engine wiring harness to the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor at the rear of the right cylinder head.

    7. Object Number: 1690258 Size: SH
  7. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right side fuel injectors.

    8. Object Number: 1699251 Size: SH
  8. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right camshaft cover.

    9. Object Number: 1690254 Size: SH
  9. Connect the engine wiring harness to right coil assembly harness.

    10. Object Number: 1690263 Size: SH
  10. Connect the engine wiring harness to the (1) supercharger inlet absolute pressure sensor, (2) barometric pressure (BARO) sensor, and (3) manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.

    11. Object Number: 1690266 Size: SH
  11. Connect the engine wiring harness to the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 2.

    12. Object Number: 1690255 Size: SH
  12. Connect the engine wiring harness to the right camshaft position actuators.

    13. Object Number: 1690256 Size: SH
  13. Connect the engine wiring harness to right camshaft position sensors.

    14. Object Number: 1699249 Size: SH
  14. Connect the engine wiring harness clips to the generator.

    15. Object Number: 1690271 Size: SH
  15. Connect the engine wiring harness to the generator.

    16. Object Number: 1690273 Size: SH
  16. Install the generator positive battery cable.
  17. Install the generator positive battery cable nut and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
