Remove the air conditioning, power steering, and water pump drive belt. Refer to Water Pump and Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement.

Drive Belt Idler Pulley Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Drive Belt Idler Pulley Assembly

Tip

    • Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise direction during belt removal and installation.
    • Remove and install the idler pulley and bolt as an assembly.
