Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement.
1	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Bolt (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 25 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Tip Disconnect any electrical connectors and cables.

Rear Compartment Lid Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Disconnect any electrical connectors and cables.
