Removal Procedure
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
- Release the vacuum brake booster hose quick connect (1).
- Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose from the auxiliary pump.
- Disconnect the auxiliary pump electrical connector.
- Remove the auxiliary pump bracket nut (1).
- Remove the auxiliary pump bracket bolt (1).
- Remove the auxiliary pump from the engine.
- Remove the auxiliary pump assembly bolts (1) and nuts (2).
- Remove the auxiliary pump insulator sleeves (1).
- Remove the auxiliary pump insulators (2).
- Release the auxiliary pump electrical harness connector (3) from the bracket and remove the pump.
Installation Procedure
- Assemble the auxiliary pump sleeves (1) to the insulators (2).
- Install the auxiliary pump insulators.
- Position the auxiliary pump to the bracket and secure the electrical harness connector (3).
- Install the auxiliary pump assembly bolts (1) and nuts (2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the auxiliary pump assembly to the engine.
- Install the auxiliary pump assembly bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Install the auxiliary pump assembly bracket nut (1) and tighten to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).
- Connect the auxiliary pump assembly electrical connector.
- Connect the vacuum brake booster hose from the auxiliary pump.
- Install the vacuum brake booster hose quick connect (1).
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
