EXH. MANIFOLD S.I.R. FITTING LOOSE (REPLACE BRASS PLUG)

SUBJECT: EXHAUST NOISE FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT - (REPLACE FITTING AND PLUG

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 C,E,K MODELS

Some DeVilles, Fleetwoods, Eldorados and Sevilles with California emissions (option NB2) may experience exhaust leak noise from the engine compartment. This condition may be caused by a loose or missing brass fitting and plug in the left exhaust manifold.

To repair this condition remove fitting and plug and replace with plug, P/N #444625. Do not use any sealer or plug during installation.
