EXTERIOR VERT. DOOR APPLIQUE MOLDING FADING/DISCOLORATION

SUBJECT: APPLIQUE MOLDING DISCOLORATION

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 SEVILLES

Some 1992 Sevilles may experience a condition with the exterior vertical door applique moldings fading or discoloring. This condition was corrected for 1993, and discolored moldings can be replaced with the part numbers listed below. Use the procedure provided in the 1992 Eldorado/Seville Service Information Manual, Section 10-6.

The new applique molding part numbers are as follows:

Right-Hand Front 3539778 Left-Hand Front 3539779 Right-Hand Rear 3539780 Left-Hand Rear 3539781

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

For warranty purposes use labor Operations B7820 for right-hand front, B7821 for left-hand front, B7880 for right-hand rear, and B7881 for left-hand rear at .2 hour as required.
