SUBJECT: CENTRE PILLAR TRIM ASSEMBLY WARPING (INSTALL NEW CENTRE PILLAR TRIM WITH REINFORCED FORWARD EDGE)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 "K" MODEL

APPLICATION:

----------- 1992 Cadillac Seville

CONDITION:

--------- Some 1992 Sevilles may experience warping of the B-Pillar trim at the forward edge near the seat belt retractor. Refer to Figure 1.

CAUSE:

----- This condition is due to a combination of heat and compression on this part at an area that is not reinforced.

CORRECTION:

---------- To repair this condition new parts are available with a reinforced forward edge. Order parts based on the following information:

Labour Time: 0.2 hour for left side 0.2 hour for right side
