SUBJECT: POOR ROOF RAIL AUXILIARY WEATHERSTRIP APPEARANCE AND/OR FIT (REPLACE WEATHERSTRIP)

MODELS: 1992-93 CADILLAC SEVILLES

CONDITION:

SOME 1992 AND 1993 EARLY SEVILLES BUILT BEFORE VIN BREAKPOINT PU816900 MAY EXHIBIT AN UNFINISHED LOOK AND/OR CORROSION AT THE FRONT OF THE ROOF RAIL AUXILIARY WEATHERSTRIP OR HAVE A LOOSE APPEARANCE AT THE REAR OF THE WEATHERSTRIP. ADDITIONALLY, ALL 1992 AND 1993 SEVILLES BUILT BEFORE VIN PU834141 MAY DEMONSTRATE POOR WEATHERSTRIP RETENTION OR GAPPING CONDITION AT THE UPPER SAIL PANEL AREA. TO CORRECT THESE CONDITIONS, A NEW ROOF RAIL WEATHERSTRIP HAS BEEN RELEASED INCORPORATING A CLOSED FRONT MUCKET, A SUPPLIER INSTALLED CLIP IN THE WEATHERSTRIP CARRIER AT THE UPPER SAIL PANEL AREA, AND A REDUCTION IN LENGTH AT THE REAR OF THE WEATHERSTRIP.
