INTAKE & THROTTLE BODY EXCHG. PROGRAM (4.6L ENGINES)

SUBJECT: ELIMINATION OF INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THROTTLE BODY EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR ALL 1993 ELDORADOS, SEVILLES, AND ALLANTES EQUIPPED WITH 4.6L NORTHSTAR ENGINES.

This bulletin supersedes DSIB 92-I-33 which should be discarded. This bulletin is being revised to cancel the intake manifold and throttle body exchange program for all 1993 Eldorados, Sevilles, and Allantes equipped with 4.6L Northstar engine.

The reason for the exchange program was to respond quickly to any early field replacements and increase customer satisfaction with the 4.6L Northstar engine. The exchange program was successful in receiving parts back in a timely manner for engineering analysis and evaluation.

Refer to the appropriate GMSPO parts book for the proper service part number(s).
