For 1990-2009 cars only
- Carefully lower the crankshaft into the upper crankcase.
- Lubricate the bearing surfaces with GM crankshaft prelube, GM P/N 1052367.
- Rotate the crankshaft to ensure smooth rotation before piston and connecting rod installation.
