Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the case extension.

    2. Object Number: 97516 Size: SH
  2. Remove the following parts:
    3. 2.1. The snap ring
    2.2. The parking gear
    2.3. The thrust bearing

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 97516 Size: SH
  1. Install the parking gear with the thrust bearing.
  2. Install the snap ring.
  3. Install the final drive internal gear.
  4. Install the snap ring.
  5. Install the sun gear with the bushing and the seal side facing differential.
  6. Install the final drive carrier. Turn the unit until it meshes with the sun gear and the internal gear teeth.
  7. Install the left thrush washer.
  8. Install the left deferential side gear.
  9. Install the snap ring.
  10. Use the manual shaft to place the transaxle in park.

    11. This will lock up the final drive unit. The actuator rod will move up.

  11. Install the differential housing and the four bolts. Hand tighten, using a star pattern.

    12. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 76 N·m (56 lb ft).

  12. Install the case extension and the scavenger pipe.
