THE MATERIAL USED FOR BACKING OR PADDING OF THE CARPET IS CONSIDERABLY POROUS.
IF THE CARPET IS NOT TOTALLY SATURATED, AN ATTEMPT TO DRY THE CARPET SHOULD BE MADE. IF THE CARPET EXHIBITS AN ODOROUS CONDITION AFTER DRYING, THEN REPLACE THE CARPET FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. SATURATED CARPET CAN TAKE 8 - 10 DAYS DRYING TIME AND STILL MAY EXHIBIT ODOR CONCERNS. THIS CARPET SHOULD BE REPLACED.
