Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 154788 Size: SH
  1. Open console bin door.
  2. Remove two fasteners from CD changer to console.
  3. Remove electrical connection.

    4. Object Number: 154790 Size: SH
  4. Remove six fasteners from CD changer bracket to CD changer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 154790 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install CD changer bracket to CD changer.

    2. Install the CD fasteners.

    Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Connect electrical connection.
  3. Insert CD changer into console bin opening.
  4. Install two fasteners from CD changer to console.
