Was the entire Exterior Lights System Check performed?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Disconnect the stoplamp/BTSI switch connector C1.

Do the stoplamps turn off?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the stoplamp/BTSI switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Replacement in Brakes.

Is the stoplamp/BTSI switch replacement complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Repair the short to battery positive voltage (B+) in CKT 17 (WHT). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?
