Backprobe the rear compartment relay center connector cavity B5 (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Backprobe the rear compartment relay center connector cavity B4 (ORN) to ground.

10-15 V

  1. Place the gear selector lever in the PARK position.
  2. Backprobe the rear compartment relay center connector with a DMM from cavity B5 (ORN) to cavity A6 (BRN).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Replace the STANDING LP relay in the rear compartment relay center. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the relay replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 3140 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the EXPORT LGT Fuse in the rear junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the fuse replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 3140 (ORN) between the S401 and the rear compartment relay center. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

  1. Remove the STANDING LP relay from the rear compartment relay center.
  2. Disconnect the dash integration module (DIM) connector C1.
  3. Connect a DMM from the rear compartment relay center connector cavity A6 (BRN) and the DIM connector C1 cavity B6 (BRN).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Replace the dash integration module (DIM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the DIM replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1429 (BRN) between the rear compartment relay center and the DIM. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Check the rear junction block LP PK L Fuse for an open.

Is the LP PK L Fuse OK?

  1. Remove the STANDING LP relay from the rear compartment relay center.
  2. Replace the EXPORT LGT Fuse in the rear junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
  3. Recheck the rear junction block EXPORT LGT Fuse for an open.

Is the LP PK L Fuse OK?
