Was the entire Interior Lights Dimming System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the RH front door module (RFDM) connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the RH front power window switch connector.
  3. Disconnect the RH front power door lock switch connector.
  4. Connect a DMM from the RFDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 6

Connect a DMM from the RFDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to the RH front power window switch connector cavity 5 (YEL/BLK).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Connect a DMM from the RFDM connector C1 cavity 10 (BLK/WHT) to the RH front power window switch connector cavity 4 (BLK/WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Replace the RH front door module (RFDM). Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the RFDM replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK) between the RFDM and S600. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 451 (BLK/WHT) between the RFDM and S601. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
