Was the entire Interior Lights Dimming System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the RH rear door module (RRDM) connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the RH rear power window switch connector.
  3. Disconnect the RH rear power door lock switch connector.
  4. Disconnect the RH rear heated seat switch connector (with KA1).
  5. Connect a DMM from the RRDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 6

Connect a DMM from the RRDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to the RH rear power window switch connector cavity 5 (YEL/BLK).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Connect a DMM from the RRDM connector C1 cavity 10 (BLK/WHT) to the RH rear power window switch connector cavity 4 (TAN/WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Replace the RH rear door module (RRDM). Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the RRDM replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK) between the RRDM and S801. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 451 (BLK/WHT) or (TAN/WHT) between the RRDM and S800. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
