Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper .

    3. Object Number: 284581 Size: SH
  3. Remove two bolts retaining the headlamp to the headlamp mounting bracket.

    4. Object Number: 284806 Size: SH
  4. Pull the headlamp straight forward to disengage the locator pin at the outboard edge of the headlamp.

    5. Object Number: 284582 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the headlamp connector from the forward lamp wiring harness.

    6. Remove the headlamp from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 284582 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlamp to the vehicle.

    2. Connect the headlamp connector to the forward lamp wiring harness.

  2. Position the outboard portion of the headlamp to align the locator pin with the headlamp mounting bracket.
  3. Press the headlamp rearward to engage the locator pin with the headlamp mounting bracket.

    4. Object Number: 284581 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install two bolts to retain the headlamp to the headlamp mounting bracket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the headlamp mounting bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper .
  6. Close the hood.
