Engine Cranks/Cranks Slowly, but Does Not Start for Cadillac Seville 1999
Perform the following checks:
| • | Battery -- Load test the battery. Refer to Battery Not Operating Properly . |
| • | Wiring -- Inspect the wiring for damage. Inspect all connections to the starter motor, solenoid, battery, and all ground connections. Clean and tighten the connections as required. |
| • | Engine -- Make sure the engine is not seized. |
If the battery, the wiring and the engine are functioning properly and the engine continues to crank slowly, repair or replace the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .
