Refer to Radio/Audio System Schematics:
Battery positive voltage (B+) is supplied via CKT 2240 (ORN) to the radio (IRC) at terminal F1. The radio monitors this voltage to determine if it is within a valid operating range.
The battery positive voltage (B+) falls below 10.5 volts for approximately 1.2 seconds or more.
• | The radio stores a DTC B1983 in its memory. |
• | The radio does not respond to inputs when the voltage is less than 9 volts. |
• | No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC. |
The battery positive voltage (B+) level rises above 9.5 volts for approximately 1.2 seconds.
The IRC will not check for low battery positive voltage (B+) during and for 2 seconds following the engine CRANK mode.
