Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 576357 Size: MH
  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the nut that retains the pass thru release handle.
  4. Remove the handle from the retaining bolt.

    5. Object Number: 576355 Size: SH
  5. Remove the cable from the pass thru release handle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 576355 Size: SH
  1. Insert the cable into the release handle.
  2. Install the pass thru release handle on to the retaining bolt.

    3. Object Number: 576357 Size: MH
  3. Install the nut in order to retain the release handle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 5 N·m (4 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Close the rear compartment lid.
