Parking Brake Cable Equalizer Replacement RHD

Caution: Refer to Brake Dust Caution in the Preface section.

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Disconnect the front park brake cable from the adjuster.



3. Disconnect the adjuster/equalizer (2) from the intermediate park brake cable (1).
4. Remove the equalizer (2).

1. Connect the adjuster/equalizer (2) to the intermediate park brake cable.
2. Connect the adjuster/equalizer (2) to front park brake cable.
3. Adjust the park brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels and Tires.
