Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the rear compartment opening weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Weatherstrip Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 105353 Size: SH
  3. Gently pry the top and rear edge of the rear compartment close-out panel (3) to release the tape strip.
  4. Rotate the rear compartment close-out panel (3) up and back to release the clips (2).
  5. Remove the rear compartment close-out panel (3) from the vehicle.
  6. Clean the old adhesive from the body panel and the rear compartment close-out panel (if reusing).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 105353 Size: SH
  1. If reusing the rear compartment close-out panel (3) apply a dubble-coated actylic foam tape strip to the top and rear edge of the rear compartment close-out panel (3).
  2. Peel the backing from the tape.
  3. Install the rear compartment close-out panel (3) to the vehicle.
  4. Press the rear compartment close-out panel (3) forward and down to engage the retainers (1 and 2).
  5. Install the rear compartment opening weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Weatherstrip Replacement .
  6. Close the rear compartment lid.
