J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. With the door open, use the J 38778 to remove the retainers around the lower portion of the door.
2. Remove the single retainer at the upper, front corner of the door pillar.
3. Remove the weatherstrip from the top of the door frame by pulling the weatherstrip away from the door channel.

1. Insert the locating pin into the upper, front corner of the door frame near the center pillar.
2. Secure the lower half of the weatherstrip to the door by inserting the retainer pins into the holes.
3. Working rearward from the front of the door frame, seat the inboard lip of the weatherstrip into the door channel and roll the outboard lip into place.

Important: Ensure that the weatherstrip does not extend past the end of the channel. Work any excess weatherstrip back into the channel.

4. From the top rear corner of the door frame working downward, install the weatherstrip using the same procedure as in step 3.
