Windshield Wiper Motor Cover Replacement LHD

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 306494  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the harness connector from the wiper motor cover.
  2. Remove the 3 screws.
  3. Remove the wiper motor cover from the wiper motor.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 306494  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the wiper motor cover to the wiper motor with three screws.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the harness electrical connector to the wiper motor cover.
  4. Inspect the wiper washer system for proper operation.

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the wiper motor cover.
  2. Remove the screws.
  3. Remove the wiper motor cover from the wiper motor.
  4. Remove the wiper motor cover from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 789994  Size: SH
  1. Position the wiper motor cover to the wiper motor.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   3. Install the wiper motor screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the harness electrical connector to the wiper motor cover.
  6. Inspect the wiper washer system for proper operation.
