For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Remove the hood latch support. Refer to Hood Latch Support Replacement in Body Front End.
- Disconnect the washer hose by depressing the release tabs (2) on each end of the washer solvent container and pulling the washer nozzle hose (1) outward.
- Disconnect the washer fluid level sensor (2) electrical connection (1).
- Disconnect the headlamp washer pump (3) electrical connection (2).
- Remove the three retainers (1) from the front bumper cover.
- Pull straight up on the front bumper cover (3) in order to access two upper headlamp washer bottle retainers (1).
- Remove both the left and the right upper headlamp washer bottle retainers (1).
- Remove both the left and the right, lower washer bottle retainers (1)
- Remove the headlamp washer bottle (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the headlamp washer bottle (1) to the vehicle.
- lift up on the front bumper cover (3) and install both of the headlamp washer bottle upper retainers (1).
- Install the three front bumper cover retainers (1).
- Connect the headlamp washer pump (3) electrical connector (2).
- Install both headlamp washer bottle lower retainers (1).
- Connect the headlamp washer fluid level sensor (2) electrical connector (1).
- Connect both left and right headlamp washer hose connections, by engaging the male end of the headlamp washer hose (1) into the female of the end of the headlamp washer hose (2) with a firm push.
- Install the hood latch support. Refer to Hood Latch Support Replacement in Body Front End.
- Adjust the hood latch if necessary. Refer to Hood Latch Adjustment in Body Front End.
