Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the left or right rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side or Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side in Body Rear End.

  3. Object Number: 105155  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the taillamp connector (3).
  5. Press the grommet (2) out of the rear compartment.
  6. Remove the fasteners (5) securing the tail lamp (1) to the body.
  7. Remove the taillamp (1) from the body.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 105155  Size: SH
  1. Route the taillamp connector (3) and the grommet (2) through the body.
  2. Verify that the grommet (2) is fully seated in the body.
  3. Install the taillamp (1) to the body.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the fasteners (5) in order to secure the taillamp (1) to the body.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 4.5 N·m (40 lb in).

  7. Connect the taillamp connector (3).
  8. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side or Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side in Body Rear End.
  9. Close the rear compartment lid.
