Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Close all of the doors.
2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
3. Place the appropriate reading lamp switch in the OFF position.

Does the reading lamp remain illuminated?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Are there 2 or more reading lamps that remain illuminated?

Go to Courtesy Lamps Always On

Go to Step 4

Is the reading lamp located in the overhead console?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Replace the appropriate reading lamp switch. Refer to Roof Rail Rear Courtesy Lamp Switch Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 7

Replace the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
