Removal Procedure
- Insert a flat bladed tool under the rear edge of the front window switch plate.
- Push the tool firmly towards the switch plate, in order to disengage the retainer.
- Lift up on the rear of the switch plate in order to remove the switch assembly from the door trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the switch assembly.
- Remove the appropriate switch from the switch plate by disengaging the side snap walls with small flat bladed tool.
Notice: The retainer clip must be fully disengaged before the switch plate is removed. Otherwise, damage to the switch plate could result.
Installation Procedure
- Snap the switch into the switch plate.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the switch assembly to the door trim panel.
- Engage the front of the switch plate to the door panel.
- Press down on the switch plate evenly in order to engage the retainer.
